Project Description

cladding/insulation materials on a fully occupied 15 story city centre mixed use apartment/retail block (brickwork, aluminium rainscreen cladding system, other areas of metal cladding and terracotta rainscreen cladding system) and replacement with regulatory compliant materials. The project has been particularly challenging in terms working with an ever-changing regulatory environment post Grenfell, and the need to work around the constraints associated with a fully occupied city centre building on a very tight site, assisting in managing the expectations of the residential/commercial lease holders in what is very difficult area for all concerned.

Works have been procured via negotiation due to both complexity of the project and the limited number of available contractors with the necessary skill sets and insurance cover.
